To recommend to Council Assembly the appointment to the Chief Executive vacancy and to consider the appointment of the statutory Monitoring Officer.

The appointments committee considered the report on Appointments to Head of Paid Service and Monitoring Officer.
The appointments committee agreed to appoint to the position of statutory monitoring officer.
Following discussion, the appointments committee agreed to adjourn the meeting to allow for a ring-fenced interview for the post of chief executive.
At 2.35pm the meeting adjourned to reconvene on 14 June 2012.
