Cleaner Greener Safer 2019-20: Capital Funding Allocation

    To approve the allocation of funds for the 2019-20 Cleaner Greener Safer (CGS) capital programmes in the Borough, Bankside and Walworth Community Council area from the list of applications set out in Appendix 1 of the report.

    Andrea Allen introduced the report.

     

    The meeting heard that a project proposed to be funded in Borough and Bankside ward had originally been added to the community infrastructure levy (CIL) list, but had remained unfunded thus far. An exception was being made by funding it from Cleaner Greener Safer (CGS) instead, as the project was time-critical.

     

    RESOLVED:

Borough, Bankside and Walworth Community Council Highways Capital Investment 2019-2020

    To approvethe allocation of funds for the 2019-20 Community Council Highways Capital Investment programmes in the Borough, Bankside and Walworth Community Council area from the list of proposals set out in Appendices 1 and 2 of the report.

    Councillors considered information in the report and commented that Borough and Bankside, Newington and Faraday wards had received no project suggestions from officers this year. The meeting also heard that in North Walworth ward, a project from the 2018-19 round of funding had not yet been delivered.
