Decision details

1.  That the three objections received during statutory consultation relating to the proposal to introduce a new parking zone in the South East Bermondsey area be rejected and that officers be instructed to provide a response directly to each objection individually. The officer’s response to each of the objections is outlined in Appendix A of the report.

2.  That the implementation of a parking zone in the South East Bermondsey area as shown in Appendix B of the report, including making the Traffic Orders, be approved. 

3.  That it be noted that officers will review the parking zone in six to nine months after implementation and will advise on whether operation days and times should be retained or amended in consideration of the consultation results.
