Decision of the Cabinet

 

1.  That the procurement strategy outlined in the report to undertake an EU procurement for the leasehold and ancillary properties buildings insurance contract for a period of three years commencing 1 April 2018, with an option to extend for two twelve month extensions, making a total estimated contract value of up to £18m be approved. The estimated total contract value is up to £3.6m per annum (including insurance premium tax at 12%). This takes into account current variables of insurance premium tax.

2.  That authority be delegated to the deputy leader and cabinet member for housing to award the contract for the reasons set out in paragraph 12 of the report.
